Install Vlc Player Without Admin Rights Windows

Hi im really annoyed by the following isue: Im working on a computer where i dont have administrator rights. When i try to install videolan i get a msg i have to log in as an administrator.

I have no acces to this and that not an option. Is there a way to install this program without these administrator rights? Maybe a tuned-down version? I just want to play a realplayer file from the internet. Its very frustrating that i cannot do a simple thing like that on this computer.

Its just wrong. While VLC will not support Real Player files as DJ would posit, you CAN install and run Videolan without admin privileges with EASE. There are a few more steps, but the process is painless and also works the same way as the portable option described in other threads here on the forum. Download the VLC ZIP file of the Windows version. (If you are unsure about whether to use 32-bit or 64-bit, then use the 32-bit as it will work with both). When the download finishes, right-click the zip file and select 'Extract to.'

Select a folder where you would like the files to appear. I prefer to use a USB flash drive, but any folder you have permissions to use as per your user's rights will do. Go to the folder in which the extracted folders and files exist, and double-click 'vlc.exe'. I love watching videos! I'd prefer watching than reading because watching gives everything that I need, the visuals, the audio and the thing that would make my comprehension more fast, though reading is also good.
