Here's a link to the ruleset in question: A quick excerpt: So you've noticed that monsters have got with the program and now keep their valuables in their own backpack. This change accomplishes two primary goals. • This stops all known auto looting/auto scavenging programs that can provide an unfair advantage.

• This allows players to easily and quickly loot items from monsters using razor. As per bolded text, this REALLY sucks. Razor for me is unstable, it crashes frequently, UOSteam on the other hand, is lovely, it works flawlessly, I have no issues running macros on it, etc. However, Auto Loot doesn't work, I've tried using an Organizer Agent which does work, however before I can use it, I am prompted EVERY TIME to set Source and Destination, this obviously is actually more laborious then using a simple restock macro on razor.

So my questions are like this: • Can I set up a macro, with a hotkey, to loot a 2 level item like a chest in a corpse, without having to CONSTANTLY configure the source and destination every time? • Is there any way to use organizer agents on hotkey, so I can just live with targeting two containers for autoloot?

• Does anyone have any advice? My personal rant: Shards blocking auto loot is one thing, it sets a clear stance, however on UOR, the stance seems to be 'auto loot is okay, if you use razor, and it's via a restock agent' which is complete nonsense! I've been playing UO for so long now, that looting really sucks, it sucks selecting gems, or reagents, it's just time consuming, tedious, and it overall has a major effect on gameplay, whether you're looting your own corpse, you're PvM'ing it's just such a headache. Anyway, I'm hoping that the reddit UO community is more open minded to the use of UOSteam, as it really is, IMO, the best uo assistant out there, it has it's own scripting language for crying out loud! But it's such a shame the plug was pulled on the project, and developers disappeared without putting the source code on github.

Fuck Thanks everyone 💕 EDIT I figured it out!!! Sorry to bother everyone! In case there are any onlookers curious to how it's done, it was actually so simple I feel dumb 😭😭😭 Hotkeys>Agents>Auto Loot Target>Target Container or Corpse SO AMAZING, ahh I'm so happy rn 😄 • • • • •. • The changes made to Renaissance were designed to encourage razor use by allowing the use of targeted restock macros, which cannot be automated, to remove some of the tedium from looting monsters corpses. The change to monster corpses allowed players who followed the rules and use razor to have an easier time. While addressing the players who choose to cheat and use UO Steam which basically has a drive by corpse scavenging agent built in.

• 30 Minutes with UO Steam on most servers, even with feature negotiation, can result in a simple bot that will hoover gold, recall to the bank, deposit, and return to hoovering all while you sleep. • Razor is quite easy to get working on almost any system and on UO Renaissance we even provide a fully working single file installation for Mac Users. Should anyone ever have problems with Razor, on any server, we have a helpful thread that can resolve almost any problem you might experience. We have found the 1.0.13.4 version to be the most stable and provide that for download on our website. • Players are provided with a very simple guide on how to achieve UO Steam like functionality with razor, however they are still required to open the corpse and target the monsters backpack.

Using UO Steam's scavenger agent to simply 'walk by a creature' to loot everything you desire breaks any notion of fairness in gameplay. • Should any player be found to be looting corpses by automated means on the Renaissance server a flag will be added to your account resulting in additional logging to isolate the use of the UO Steam application and apply the appropriate punishment. • Our goal is to provide our players with a fair and balanced experience. If you take the time to configure razor properly and follow the tips in the troubleshooting guide razor will work just as well as UO Steam. • By focusing on balanced and fair play through development the Renaissance server has established an economy where progress has to be earned. All efforts will be taken to make sure players who start tomorrow will have the same involvement in the economy as players who started 2 years ago by ensuring the market is not saturated with gold/goods obtained by automated means. • You listed looting your own corpse easily as something you enjoy using UO Steam for, however should someone kill you and use the same agent to automatically strip your corpse of everything valuable without a single click I would have to imagine you would find this unfair.

Why do you say UOSteam users cheat? 😕 The change to monster corpses allowed players who followed the rules and use razor to have an easier time. While addressing the players who choose to cheat and use UO Steam which basically has a drive by corpse scavenging agent built in. Well, your mechanism of monster's having containers blocks auto-loot. UOSteam users have to target corpses like all the other savages now 😅 So why still block it? 30 Minutes with UO Steam on most servers, even with feature negotiation, can result in a simple bot that will hoover gold, recall to the bank, deposit, and return to hoovering all while you sleep. Unattended macroing is cheating and it should be a jailable/banable offense regardless of client 😒 but this isn't an issue of clients, it's just an issue of people abusing unattended macroing.

Using UOSteam!= Unattended macoring 🙅 Razor is quite easy to get working on almost any system and on UO Renaissance we even provide a fully working single file installation for Mac Users. That's like, your opinion, man(I'm kidding🙈) But really, this isn't a compelling reason for why UOSteam is illegal on UOR, I don't see why mention it? Players are provided with a very simple guide on how to achieve UO Steam like functionality with razor, however they are still required to open the corpse and target the monsters backpack.

Using UO Steam's scavenger agent to simply 'walk by a creature' to loot everything you desire breaks any notion of fairness in gameplay. But why not ban the user instead of the client? Cheaters are cheaters and they are going to be a problem regardless of the client 💁 people who use Razor cheat, but that doesn't mean that everyone who uses Razor is a cheater, or that Razor is a cheater program.

Same for UOSteam. If users of UOSteam are looting the same way users with Razor are, then is UOSteam still a banable/jailable offense?

Your shard has now been designed in a way that stops UOSteam's autoloot agent, so why make it against the rules to use the client? 😓 Should any player be found to be looting corpses by automated means on the Renaissance server a flag will be added to your account resulting in additional logging to isolate the use of the UO Steam application and apply the appropriate punishment. Who says it's only UOSteam users autolooting? I just don't understand why if you're going to ban anyone who autoloots, it even matters what clients people use, when as a shard, you've set rules against using functionality like that?😪 Our goal is to provide our players with a fair and balanced experience. If you take the time to configure razor properly and follow the tips in the troubleshooting guide razor will work just as well as UO Steam. That's like, your opinion, man.(serious this time) This is just proselytizing Razor over other client programs and it's really pointless, these aren't reasons for why UOSteam users deserve to be punished on your shard for using a program that you personally find secondary to your endorsement of Razor.

☝️ By focusing on balanced and fair play through development the Renaissance server has established an economy where progress has to be earned. All efforts will be taken to make sure players who start tomorrow will have the same involvement in the economy as players who started 2 years ago by ensuring the market is not saturated with gold/goods obtained by automated means. I love your shard and I couldn't agree more🙌🙌 Your team has done a fantastic job with the Era and your ideas I feel like add great value and help breathe new life into Ultima Online.👏 (super serious on this) You listed looting your own corpse easily as something you enjoy using UO Steam for, however should someone kill you and use the same agent to automatically strip your corpse of everything valuable without a single click I would have to imagine you would find this unfair. I don't travel with anything I don't mind losing 😌. I don't believe UO needs to be a hug box either.

If someone kills me I expect them to loot me dry, it's what makes UO great! 😊 I would however, be upset if someone was using autoloot to unattended resource gather, or farm gold, etc😡 Thanks for the comment reply, your shard is amazing and I hope the next big implementation is plants, and I really look forward to playing for a long time! Even if it means hiding the fact that I'm a UOSteam user following the rules on your sever 💛 Thanks for working so hard, edit a word • • • • •. As for gardening we have something special planned for that down the road. You made my night with this 😄 I love gardening plants, they make such great house decorations, it's fun collecting seeds, it has such a meta game-within-a-game feel and it adds this wonderful depth to the world 😊 Again, I just love your server 😍 I'm a long time UOSA player and I've brought quite a few people with me now to play on UOR and so far we're all really enjoying it.

With your shard I finally feel at home here now and I really only hope to see UOR have a long and continued history like UOSA. ✋🎉 Anyway, please excuse my fangirling 😅 I'm just excited at the fact that I get to personally tell you how awesome your shard is and I'm so sorry that it had to be initiated through an off-topic subject 😒 Keep up the great work! I'll PM you about the other stuff. Right, essentially Razor's restock agent works as an 'auto loot' on UOR. Hit hotkey for restock agent, target chest in monster corpse, done, it loots it to your pack. I'm not using Razor, however. It's unstable, buggy, crashes, and the actual game itself has a skipping frame.

UOSteam by comparison, none such issues, and it's built in scripting language is really very impressive and intuitive. On UOSteam, there is a 'Organizer' agent, it behaves very similarly to Razor's but it requires a source and target destination, if that source changes(like when looting monsters, since they all have different containers!) then I have to go to UOSteam, select a 'source' container(chest on monster) and a 'destination'(pack in paper doll, and it HAS to be the paper doll, if you target self it won't work!), so this results in a very laborious and time consuming process! I want to figure out how to set a macro on UOSteam, that will essential search monster corpse according to a list on my macro, if it finds a container in the list, it searches that container, and then organizes from that searched container as a SOURCE and then loots it to a destination, my back pack. Hope that clears it up! If you have any questions just ask 😄 • • • •. It's the shard's business, as they made the decision to limit which assistant apps are allowed for balance reasons. Your choice to attempt to bypass it will not likely be met with open discussion, because the specific reason it was implemented was to stop people from using this assistant app.

I literally provided you a direct answer to your inquiry; its a moot conversation on UOR because it's against the rules. Play on a shard that approves UOSteam if you want to use the autoloot option. Further to this, is the shard owner, head developer, and frequents this subreddit. Any discussion you have about bypassing it (if you had any success) would simply be providing him with methodology to solve for the bypass in the next patch. Like it or not, what I provide is relevant to your conversation, your handwaving aside. Are you the shard? Then it's not your business, this is, this isn't, I'm asking this community about how they've configured UOSteam to work around auto loot blocks.

Who are you, the client police? What a drag you are, no one asked you here, you don't know how to help me or further this conversation along, so take your high horse and head out. Additionally, no he wouldn't be able to 'patch it out', if the client is looting according to HIS standards.

Razor restock agent from a monster's chest IS AUTO LOOT, it's just auto loot with razor, I'd like to do that with UOSteam • • • • •. No, I just don't care to listen to arbitrary gate keepers like yourself, who take an entitled position to police how others interact with a computer program running on their own machines. Like I said already, the shard creator configured the shard to function in a way that allowed players to auto loot with Razor. I don't see what's wrong with me, as a user, wanting a more stable program and a program that consumes less memory than Razor, to function in a way that is consistent with the design of the shard. I don't see what's wrong with me, as a user, wanting a more stable program and a program that consumes less memory than Razor, to function in a way that is consistent with the design of the shard. I already told you what's wrong with it: The shard owner made the decision that UOSteam is not consistent with the design, vision or intentions of the shard. So much so that they have coded solutions to neuter some of the more potent functionality of the client.

The fact that you've had to create this thread to figure out a way around it proves this fact better than I can. The owner already made his decision, your choice of client is not allowed. If you want to use it, use it at a shard where it is allowed.

Doing any action that is against the rules of the shard is not consistent with the design of the shard. Quit justifying it to yourself otherwise. Edit: a word.

For those of you new to AutoLoot (originally by JupiterTheGod), it streamlines the looting process in The Witcher 3. Items that you wish to always pick up will now be automatically looted from all containers. This mod builds on the strong foundations of AutoLoot and AutoLoot Enhanced (by CarbonAlabel) to create a unified, optimized, and customizable experience for AutoLoot. This mod aims to completely remove the necessity for 'special versions' of AutoLoot, as well as the need to edit code to get your mod to do what you want. I've also taken some creative freedoms, with permission of the original author, and created new filters to cover items that were not originally part of AutoLoot. Finally, for those of you who do not want to be slowed down by the tedious looting of caves, houses, and the countless places that contain tons of containers, I've developed True AutoLoot Mode.

This mode continuously searches for loot that matches your user configuration settings, and picks it up, without any input/interaction needed from the user. Special care was taken to optimize this process, and I can say with confidence that I've finally gotten it to a point where this is no performance impact from using this feature.

I actively monitor for suggestions, bug reports, and feedback, so if you think something is missing, should be changed, or have found an issue with the mod, please post your thoughts! IMPORTANT INFORMATION (PLEASE READ!) • DELETE/UNINSTALL any previous/other versions of AutoLoot, including this mod (DO NOT OVERWRITE) • Once you finish following the instructions, run Script Merger (get it if you don't have it) • RETURNING USERS: If you are updating from version 2.x.x, YOU MUST STILL RUN SCRIPT MERGER (this will hopefully be the last update to require this) • FIRST TIME USERS: Make sure to at least load a game and see the 'Default settings loaded' or 'Update installed' message before configuring your preferences, otherwise they will be overwritten.

• ALL USERS: Make sure you install the config menu even if you are updating from 2.x.x (3.0 implements new menu options). BUGS: None known at this time. Q: Will this mod work on 1.X version of the game? A: This is intended for versions 1.30 and 1.31. Anything before that will not compile.

Q: Why is True AutoLoot Mode and/or Radius Loot picking up items behind walls and below ground (like in caves)? A: This is due to the way the mod is searching for containers to loot.

These functions implement a spherical area to search for containers -- and there is not a currently known method of determining what 'accessible means' (to some, this might mean if you can walk to it, but to others this might mean in the same building). Collision detection does not seem to work properly on containers either. I am still working on a method to adjust this behavior. Q: Can I use this mod without installing the menu? All functions within this mod rely on the values set by your menu options.

Additionally, there is no way to save settings to the configuration file if the menu is not installed (this is inherent game behavior, nothing this mod can do about that). I do not plan to make a non-menu version. Q: Do I have to follow the keybinding instructions (marked OPTIONAL)? A: As indicated above, no you do not.

However, if you don't follow the input.settings section, you will not be able to use Radius Loot. Additionally, you will be required to manually change the 'Use True AutoLoot Mode' setting to ON in order to use that feature. If you do not follow the input.xml section, you will not be able to adjust your keybindings with the in-game Settings menu. Q: After remapping my keybindings in the Settings menu, why are they not working?

A: You most likely have conflicting actions in input.settings. Open that file located in Documents/The Witcher 3, and search for either (Action=AutoLootRadius) or (Action=ToggleTrueAutoLoot) -- whichever keybinding isn't working. If you have duplicates under the same [Section], delete the additional entries (they will most likely be one after the other). Save input.settings and rebind your key in the Settings menu.

Q: I'm getting compile errors, help?! A: First and foremost, these compile errors are not caused by this mod. You are using an outdated mod in your load order that is causing these compile errors. Recheck and update your mod list, and re-merge your scripts with script merger and try to compile again. CONSOLE COMMANDS The new console commands have two formats, one with the 'ahdal_' prefix, to indicate they're for use with this mod. These commands will have no affect on your game settings or other mods.

The second is commands without a prefix. These commands are not unsafe to use, but if you use parameters for other mods, or settings from vanilla config menu items, it is possible to change those values outside the scope of this mod. Again, it's difficult to mess up your settings, but just be careful when/if experimenting. Pink/purple parameters are REQUIRED, blue parameters are OPTIONAL (as indicated). I don't believe quotes or apostrophes are required to use these functions (I believe the console automatically casts the parameter to the required data type). Ahdal_reset Resets all settings to their default values. This is the same as selecting the 'Full Reset' option in the Settings menu.

You will get a banner across the middle of the screen indicating the default values were successfully loaded. Ahdal_loadpreset( preset ) Loads the specified preset. You will get a banner across the middle of the screen indicating the preset was successfully loaded. The applicable values for preset are (case-sensitive): • loadPresetHerb • loadPresetCorpse • loadPresetHerbCorpse • loadPresetOneItem • loadPresetValuableGear • loadPresetWeightless Example: ahdal_loadpreset( loadPresetHerbCorpse ) -->Loads the settings for 'Herbs and Corpses Preset' ahdal_clearnotifications Clears all information stored in the AutoLoot notification manager.

This command will display a notification in the lower left for 7.5 seconds indicating what was cleared. If you are out of combat, this should almost always give you 0.000 for everything -- the only exception is if you use this in the middle of combat, or somehow execute this command in the split second it takes Radius Loot/True AutoLoot to loot containers. Getconfigval( group, setting, optional time ) Gets the value stored in the config wrapper class (pulls from your user.settings file) under the section [group] for the variable named setting (this is meant for debugging to check certain values of XML menus without opening the menu, which could trigger other functions).

Optionally, you can provide an integer time to indicate how long (in seconds) to display the notification with the parsed information. All parameters are case-sensitive. Example: getconfigval( 'Gameplay', 'AutomaticFinishersEnabled', 10 ) -->Displays (true/false) setting value for 'Disable Automatic Finishers' option for 10 seconds setconfigval( group, setting, val, optional time, optional save ) Sets the value in the config wrapper in the section [group] for the variable named setting with the value val. Optionally, you can provide an integer time to indicate how long (in seconds) to display the notification with the parsed information.

Additionally, you can optionally provide a bool value (true/false) for save to indicate whether or not to save this value to user.settings (the difference between the two is without a true value for save, the value will not persist if you don't save your game). Example: s etconfigval( 'AHDAutoLoot_true', 'trueAutoLootTime', 2.0,, true ) -->Saves the True AutoLoot Mode refresh time to 2 seconds in user.settings; displays notification for default time (5 seconds by default) getplayerpos( optional mode, optional showTarget, optional time ) Displays a notification with X, Y, and Z coordinates of the player's position (by default uses GLOBAL coordinates). You can pass the string local for the mode parameter to indicate using local coordinates (I'm not sure what the difference is between global and local coordinates, could be something to do with different world states). You can pass a bool value showTarget to indicate also displaying your target's coordinates (this is a bit misleading -- the 'target' is your current entity focus, like a container, candle, or door; I don't believe this works with enemies).

Finally, you can optionally provide an integer time to indicate how long (in seconds) to display the notification with the parsed information. Example: getplayerpos(, true ) -->Displays the player's and target's X, Y, and Z world coordinates for the default amount of time (5 seconds).
